FAQ

Helpful Information

What type of events can I book you for?

Any and All! Weddings, Birthdays, Holiday Parties, Business Events, Baby Showers, or Just Because!

What services do you provide?

First and foremost, we are a bartending service utilizing a converted horse trailer bar. However, if you aren't in need of a bar and would like to utilize our trailer at your party in another way, we are more than willing to come and serve appetizers, desserts, non-alcoholic beverages, etc.

Do you provide the alcohol?

Per CA liquor laws, we are unable to provide/sell alcohol. HOWEVER, this really works in the benefit of the client as you are able to choose any type of alcohol you like and purchase from any retailer without a markup from a caterer.

Where are you located?

The Tipsy Wagon resides in the beautiful country side of Santa Margarita CA. Therefore we are able to serve all over the central coast and surrounding areas.

Is electricity required?

For our lighting on board we do need a standard outlet to plug in.

Can you set up in any location?

ALMOST. To get the trailer to your desired location, we do need enough room for our truck and trailer to be able to pull in, possibly turn around, and park. It is our clients responsibility to ensure that there is enough room for the wagon and that the venue will allow our trailer to be parked on their property.

Can we decorate the trailer?

Heck yeah!! Of course we can not allow any permanent modifications to the trailer (drilling holes etc) But we do have some decorations we can provide and if you have something specific for us to use in order to match surrounding decor we will of course use that to match your events aesthetic.

Do you provide a military and First Responders discount ?

ABSOLUTELY! The co-owner of The Tipsy Wagon is a First Responder and we both come from military family's. We thank you for your service!

Do you remove trash?

Unfortunately we cannot. Due to the limited space in our trailers, we are unable to remove trash.

Do you allow shots?

No shots. While we want you and your guests to have an amazing time, when an open bar (unlimited free alcohol) is available to guests, we have to set some boundaries for everyone's safety.

Do your bartenders check ID's?

YES. Even at privately held events, we must abide by liquor laws. If someone appears under the age of 30, they will be asked for identification. Please remind guests to bring their ID. (photos of ID's are not considered valid forms of ID)

Are you insured and RBS certified?

YES. We carry general and liquor liability insurances and can provide a COI to venues upon request along with RBS certification.
